De ontwikkelaars achter Ultimate Boot CD timmeren hard aan de weg met de ontwikkeling van versie 5.0 en hebben woensdag alweer de twaalfde bèta-release uitgebracht. Ultimate Boot CD is een grote verzameling opensource- en freewareprogramma's die bedoeld zijn voor het vinden en oplossen van voornamelijk hardwareproblemen. De bèta wordt ook dit keer alleen als torrent-download aangeboden en is 256MB groot. De belangrijkste verandering in deze release is dat er naast het standaard isolinux/syslinux-bootmenu ook een grub4dos-bootmenu aanwezig is, omdat die eerste onder bepaalde omstandigheden niet altijd werkte. Ultimate Boot CD on USB Flashdrive.
Besides Hiren's Boot Disk, the Ultimate Boot CD Boot Disk is used the most current. Boot disk is gathered many tools can be run in DOS help you rescue the machine problems, hard drive repair or restore data. You can see all the tools here.
Instructions how to use Boot USB Flash
After you download Winrar unpacking ISO files to disk (for example: D:\UBCD50B12)
Connect USB Flash drives in Computer (note that no data is available, otherwise you will lose),
Then select Start to Run ... (write cmd to and enter) and write to the command line.
cd\ => Enter
d: => Enter
cd ubcd50b12 => Enter
cd ubcd\tools\win32\ubcd2usb => Enter
ubcd2usb D:\ubcd50b12 H: -Y => Enter
Press Enter
Press Enter
Process is set to USB flash (please wait)
After the text appears.
UBCD2USB: Bootable UBCD memory stick has been created
